Our Story
The Uplift Mission was founded by Charlie W. Bethea on January 13, 2025 and established as a tax exempt non-profit organization focused on mentoring and guiding young men between the ages of 15 and 19. The organization was created to provide positive mentoring, leadership development, and practical life guidance that help young men grow into responsible adults.
The founder recognized the importance of strong role models and supportive communities in shaping the lives of young men. Uplift Mission was established to create opportunities where mentorship, encouragement, and life-skills education cann help young men reach their full potential.
Why Uplift Mission Exists
Many young men benefit greatly from mentorship and exposure to positive leadership. Uplift Mission was created to help provide that guidance by connecting young men with mentors who are committed to supporting their personal growth and development.
Through mentorship and structured activities, participants learn the value of accountability, discipline, and respect while gaining tools that help them navigate important life decisions.
Our Commitment to Youth Development
Uplift Mission focuses on helping young men grow personally, academically, and socially. Mentoring sessions, workshops, and leadership activities provide opportunities for participants to build confidence, improve communication skills, and develop strong decision-making habits.
Young men involved in the program are encouraged to set high standards for themselves and to recognize how their choices can positively influence their future and the communities around them.
